The costs of undertaking formal
and informal appointments directly impact upon the funds
available to secured and unsecured creditors. We are also
cognisant of the challenges facing secured creditors when
demands are served on guarantors where a shortfall is suffered
on realisation of the primary security. As a result, we have
developed a set of hourly charge out rates which takes into
account our overhead structure. We note that the rates charged
by our directors are less than the scale of rates published
by the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia
on 1 December 1997.
These hourly rates when combined with
our directors’ hands on approach and experience ensure that
the end result maximises the return to all stakeholders.
